About Chef Rock's Kitchen and Catering:
A Little Eatery In Little Italy Our mission is to provide customers with the best value and service, preparing the most delicious Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in the world. As the creator Chef Rocks Kitchen and Catering, it is my goal and intent to share with you my love and appreciation of freshly prepared foods, excellent service and personal hospitality. I am passionate about what we do and will go to great lengths to ensure that your experience exceeds your expectations. My culinary journey began 10 years prior to becoming a graduate of Johnson and Whales University in Rhode Island with additional advanced courses at the Culinary Institute of Hyde Park, New York. As a professional chef, I have remained at the forefront of the food service industry for the past 30 years. I have experience as an apprentice, working and learning with some of the best chefs in the industry at acclaimed restaurants, hotels and resorts around our country. I became a professional chef so people could experience fine quality foods, while incorporating a healthy approach using sustainable wholesome locally grown ingredients whenever possible. Chef Rock’s Catering Service “Culinary Architects” is fun and innovative creating foods for today’s lifestyle while keeping the traditions of family favorites that keep you coming back for more. I am eager to invite you to let me show you my commitment to your satisfaction! JIM ROCK - Owner From an early age, Jim Rock was inspired cooking for his family. After graduating from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island to pursue advanced courses at the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, N.Y. Rock’s culinary repertoire flourished training with Vincent Chen at Sarah Street Grill in Stroudsburg as a sushi chef and assistant banquet chef at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia. With over 30 years of culinary experience 2018, Rock will open the kitchen at Chef Rock's Kitchen and Catering, located in Wilmington, DE Little Italy. Rock's vast menu of international comfort food ranges from Mediterranean to oven-baked pizzas, with plenty of fresh salads like the delicate Seared Pepper Ahi Tuna.
